Each year, 10 new UWA Fogarty Scholarships are awarded to WA’s brightest and most engaged high school graduates.
Students selected for the UWA Fogarty Scholarship Program are provided with holistic support through opportunities to learn, acquire skills, build assets and create social networks, including:
Comprehensive Education Scholarship
Financial scholarship of $10,000 per annum to assist in university tuition, accommodation and general living expenses as well as academic, social and career support to retain exceptional young people to our state and nation.
Leadership and Enterprise Program
The Leadership and Enterprise Program is a distinguishing element of the scholarships, where Scholars learn from, and have access to, a network of significant leaders, gain insight into major challenges within our community and awareness in how they can contribute.
Leadership Opportunities
Provides Scholars with opportunities for public speaking, initiating ventures, leading projects and acting as university ambassadors.
Academic Mentoring
Scholars receive tailored academic mentoring from a UWA academic faculty member of their chosen field of study who guides students through their university journey.
Accomodation
All UWA Fogarty Scholars are offered a place and are eligible for scholarships for accommodation at UWA residential colleges.
Scholars and Alumni Network
Connects networks of exceptional young people who support, mentor and inspire each other.
