The UWA Fogarty Scholarship Program aims to
develop a network of significant leaders. 


The UWA Fogarty Scholarship Program is a joint investment between the Fogarty Foundation and the University of Western Australia in the future leaders of this state.

In 2016, UWA and the Fogarty Foundation celebrate 13 years of the scholarship program.
We now have 57 Scholars and 58 Alumni studying and working in a variety of fields.

Fogarty Scholars’ Scholarship Program aims to develop a network of significant leaders. These scholarships are designed to encourage the highest achieving students to remain in Western Australia to continue their studies.

Did you know?

  • Most years since 2007, the Beazley Medallist, the State’s leading Year 12 WACE student, has accepted a UWA Fogarty Scholarship.

  • In 2012, 2013 and 2014, the WA Rhodes Scholars have been UWA Fogarty Scholars.

  • In 2014, the Woodside Sir John Monash Award and the Fullbright Scholarship were awarded to UWA Fogarty Scholars.
